There are even two working vineyards on the edge of the village for those who want to try the local wines.

On Thursday mornings the village hosts its regional Market Fair. Other local village markets include St-Tropez, Port Grimaud, Grimaud, Cogolin, and La Garde Freinet. These markets sell locally produced foods, clothing and handicrafts.

Plan de la Tour is situated in the south of Provence, in the coastal region between St Tropez and Frejus. It is a rural, wine growing area surrounded on three sides by the Massif des Maures mountain range and the Mediterranean on the coast. The countryside around Plan de la Tour is picturesque with stunning views of the Gulf of St Tropez from the higher village lanes. It is superbly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts during peak tourist seasons, but its close proximity, via country lanes, allows easy access when desired. The village can be accessed from either the Le Luc/Le Muy exits (30-40 min drive) of the A8 motorway, direction St Tropez/Ste Maxime respectively. A8 provides easy access to all the main attractions on the Cote d’Azur.
